Cooper Releases 2012 Football Schedule

The Cooper Cougars 2012 schedule features 6 games at Shotwell Stadium, and it also features 6 playoff teams from last season.
The season starts at home against Wichita Falls Rider, and the Cougars only other non-district game is down near Austin in Cedar Park. Both teams went to the Class 4A Div. I quarterfinals in 2011.
The Cougars play 5 of their 8 district games at Shotwell Stadium. They take on Midland Lee, Odessa High, Abilene High and Permian at home.
The Crosstown Showdown with the Eagles is on October 5th this season.
The trade off is the 2 longest road trips in District 2-5A. They go to Lubbock to play Coronado on September 20th and Amarillo to play Tascosa on October 19th. The Cougars finish up the season at San Angelo Central.
