Questions Abound 1 Week After Discovery of Human Remains in Big Spring

By: Victor Sotelo
Updated: March 27, 2012
A week after human remains were discovered in Big Spring, the Big Country and surrounding areas are still rife with unanswered questions.

Authorities in Big Spring say the two missing males they have on record from the town are both adults.

Arlin Bynum was last seen Aug. 14, 2003 near a local hangout called the San Franciscan Bar and Grill, and Bobby Marques Jr. has been missing for 14 years.

They say neither one of the men were school-aged when they went missing, and leads have been exhausted on why they disappeared and what happened to them.

Big Spring authorities, like a large number of people in the Big Country, are waiting for more information from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office.
