AHS's Steve Warren Nominated For THSCA President

Abilene
High Football Coach Steve Warren has been nominated to be President of
the Texas High School Coaches Association. It is a great honor to be
nominated for
this by the association.
In 16 years at Abilene High, Warren and his Eagles have been to the playoffs 13 years in a row, and they have won or shared 4 straight district titles. The crowning achievement of Warren's career came in 2009 when Abilene High beat Katy for the school's 1st State Championship since the 1950's.
Wylie head coach Hugh Sandifer is a former president of the organization.
