Lubbock Man Killed in Runnels Co. Rollover

A 27-year-old Lubbock man was killed after being involved in an accident in Runnels County.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety officials, Carl Sedberry was driving southeast on State Highway 153 Thursday morning at approximately 7:15 when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road, over-corrected and drove into a ditch, causing his 2004 International truck to overturn.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sedberry was taken to Winters Funeral Home.

He was wearing a seat belt.
