Local Cosmetology School Styling Wigs For Cancer Patients

By: Newsroom
Updated: March 30, 2012
Earlier this year, 300 wigs were donated to the Cancer Services Network, in honor of a local man's late wife.

Now, a local beauty school has given their services to help style the wigs.

Students at Neecee's School of Cosmetology got to work on the large donation, the CSN's largest donation to date.

Cuts, colors, curls and crimps began on Thursday afternoon at the school.

"Well, we got a call from Nancy, and she asked us if we'd be interested in doing some wigs for their patients and we were excited to do it," Joyce Ayers with the NeeCee's School of Cosmetology.

The color and styles were also donated.
