Taste of Abilene Set for Tuesday

By: News Release
Updated: April 2, 2012
The Rotary Club of Abilene and the Abilene Restaurant Association are sizzling with excitement about the 2012 Taste of Abilene event, which will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the Abilene Civic Center.

Taste of Abilene is an annual showcase of some of Abilene's finest restaurants and caterers. This event is presented by the Rotary Club of Abilene and the Abilene Restaurant Association. Taste of Abilene benefits local nonprofits and community organizations.

Presented by the Glazer's Family of Companies, this all-you-can-eat extravaganza offers the community an opportunity to give back to local organizations while tasting the experience of world-class cuisine, drinks and entertainment by Abilene's own The Piano Man.

Taste of Abilene is our largest fundraiser, with proceeds going to benefit local charities and scholarships. The event was revived in 2006 and has raised more than $140,000 collectively to benefit community organizations and culinary scholarships.

Taste of Abilene 2011 was a sold out event, and we expect the same for 2012. Join us Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at the Abilene Civic Center to taste to your heart's content.

Tickets are $30 for an all-you-can-eat dinner, drinks and music experience.

Tickets are available at www.tasteofabilene.org, Buffalo Wild Wings, Famous Dave's, IN-Focus Digital, Star Dodge and at the door, while tickets last.
