By: Natalie Ferrari
Updated: April 4, 2012
An Abilene museum is putting together a spectacular exhibit in honor of one of history's worst disasters.

Next week will mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.

The Discovery Center in Abilene will hold a centennial exhibition for the public to learn the history of that tragic event, which will be open for the entire year.

Visitors will even get to see memorabilia of the late Jack Grimm, a wealthy Abilene man who both financed and participated in three expeditions to find the Titanic.
