At Strawberry Hill USA in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, they are already picking strawberries.

It is the first time the sweet seasonable fruit will be available for Easter.

The berries are actually ten days to two weeks ahead of schedule and they're not alone.

The peaches and blackberries are blooming about two weeks ahead of schedule, too.

Not far away at Nivens' Apple Farm the trees are blooming early for the second year in a row.

This year theres the problem of lacking the necessary chilling hours, which is when the temperatures are below 40 or 42 degrees.

The concern is that the apples will be weak, fall off early, or the crop may be smaller than usual.

Owner Donald Nivens is looking at the bright side of this early warmth.

He says the baby apples could get conditioned to the hot sun - because all the leaves aren't in yet.
