Abilene Animal Shelter Offering Free Tick, Flea Dips

By: Brendaliss Gonzalez
Updated: April 4, 2012
Starting today, pet owners in Abilene can make sure their animals are bug free.

The Abilene Animal Shelter began providing free tick and flea dips for anyone.

They do this every year to help with prevention from the dangers fleas and ticks create.

Workers there say it's been an especially large problem this year.

The free dips will go on through September 13.

No appointment is needed, simply bring your pet to the shelter.
