ACU's Hach And Mongin Earn LSC Tennis Awards

Hach first teamed up with Alfredo Desiati at No. 2 doubles to defeat Nestor and Nicolas Moreno, 8-1, and then silenced regionally ranked Marcin Marczewski 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles.
Hach is ACU's No. 1 player in both singles and doubles with combined record of 36-4. He is ranked sixth nationally in singles with a 17-3 mark at the top line, and with Nick Plum comprises the No. 6 doubles team.
Hach is 7-0 with Plum at No. 1, and also has won five matches with Guilherme Gesser, and four with Alfredo Desiati.
Julia Mongin, Abilene Christian University, JR, went 5-0 last week as a singles and doubles players against St. Mary's and DI schools New Mexico State and UTEP.
Mongin - the No. 2 ranked singles player in DII - began her week with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 over Rattler Valentine Lambrechts.
Then against the Aggies, she teamed up with her sister at No. 2 doubles to beat Annemieke Witte and Denise Van Der Ben, 8-6, and later came back from a set down at No. 1 singles to beat Manon Sylvain 4-6, 7-5, 6-4.
Mongin kept her winning streaks alive Saturday at UTEP, first pairing with Emily Conrad at no. 3 to beat Dariya Abdrakhmanova and Anastasiya Sylenko, 8-1, and then topping Martina Trierweiler at No. 1, 6-3, 6-2.
Mongin leads the Wildcats from the No. 1 line, where she is 12-1 this season and in the midst of a 10-match winning streak. She is equally potent in doubles as evident by her 14-1 record.
Mongin is a perfect 7-0 in doubles this spring with her twin sister, Laura, and 4-0 with Brittney Reed.
