CHS Administrators Deny Talk of 'Pregnancy Pact' Among Freshman Girls

By: Victor Sotelo
Updated: April 6, 2012
Cooper High School administrators say a rumor there is a pregnancy pact among freshmen girls isn't true.

They say social media is fueling the claims.

Several students and parents are saying that more than 50 freshmen girls are pregnant, but the associate principal said today that number is not accurate.

She says only 12 students are pregnant at the school and that's the lowest number in years.

Another rumor going around is that the MTV show "16 and Pregnant" is coming to town.

While the Cooper administration says they know nothing about it, BigCountryHomePage.com Staff talked to producers of the show and they say there is a possibility of them filming in Abilene, but they were not specific on the subject matter.

They do teach abstinance in school, apparently it's not working and it's time to teach the kids about safe [censored].

Did she really say "ONLY" 12 students. That is a lot of pregnancies at one school. Think it is time to teach abstinance!
