On Tuesday, the tornadic storms in the Metroplex area resulted in several planes being diverted out of necessity to the Abilene Airport.

April had this to say about the plight of those air passengers on their arrival at the Abilene Airport,

"I feel sorry for those people. There's not even a place to sit down and eat or have a drink there!"

Nancy said about her experience that day at the airport,

"Oh they were great, and there was plenty of food and water."

Our next story you responded to was the one about the inmate being accidentally released from the Taylor County jail.

Jolene had this to say,

"Wow. Well, I have to say I'm impressed that the prisoner was honest about it.  I'm sure there's more to that prisoner's story than just this but, that is impressive. As far as the sheriff's office, this is too big of an issue for them to be making mistakes like this."

Dennis adds, "No surprise coming from Abilene!"

Lynn applauded the prisoner as she states,  "Kudos to the prisoner for his honesty."

Finally Jo points out the following, "Not every one would own up to a mistake like that and turn himself back in. I give him kudos for being honest and I think he should get something for that, be it a week or a month or what ever."

We'll close with the  new hairdo of KRBC anchor Megan Dobbs. She claims it will save her hair from a lot of "heat".

Angie comments: "I think it is very cute."

Michael  wrote in saying,

"I think it's a hit, your hair looks nice curly."

Dede adds,

"Curls are coming back in style so says my hairdresser that recently permed my hair!!"

And finally Randy closes out with, "Looked ight."

If you have any comments  to share with us, submit it to the Feedback Friday section of our website, or leave a comment on the stories on our Facebook page.
