Fountain Gate Church held their 2nd Annual Easter "Eggstravagnza" earlier this afternoon at Jane Long elementary. Kids were able to participate in various arts and activities, tour a fire truck by the Abilene Fire Department, and even twelve bicycles were raffled to a dozen lucky kids. The Eggstravaganza was concluded by a large Easter egg hunt where thousands of Easter eggs were spread out across the field.
Associate Pastor, Gary Cheek, told us, "We're just excited to be in this area to be able to bless these children, this school, this staff and this neighborhood because it's only through things like this that our city is going to change for the better."
Last year, over a thousand people attended the Easter Eggstravaganza, which is why this has become a very successful annual event for the community.
