A Sweetwater man was captured in Abilene on a felony warrant during an early morning traffic stop.

Police arrested 37-year-old Terry Allen about 4:00 this morning near North Second and Grape.

Officers say Allen tried to lie about his identity, but they quickly found out his real name.

After a routine computer check, they found Allen to be wanted on a felony warrant alleging forgery.

Allen was also charged with failing to identify himself.

A woman in the car was also arrested for another outstanding warrant.
