Kiwanis LogoIf you were anywhere near the Civic Center Saturday, then you could smell the Fish Fry being held by Key City Kiwanis Club. Group members spent the day frying up some good fish for a good cause. The community came out to take part in the 37th Annual Fish Fry. Each year, members of the Key City Kiwanis come together to serve three to four thousand people a plate of fish, cole slaw, and lots more. All the money raised goes right back to children here in Abilene. The fish fry usually brings in 30 thousand dollars.
