Abilene Man Indicted for Theft

An Abilene man with a history of theft and drug-related charges has been indicted by a Taylor County grand jury.

Rock Lane Tanner was indicted on a theft charge from last September.

More recently, Tanner and another man were caught red-handed by Abilene police when they were found burglarizing a building.

The building's owner says the men were stripping copper wire.
