An Abilene man who is also facing several drug charges has been indicted for evading arrest and assault of a peace officer.

Court records indicate the incident involving Dennis Thomas Davis, Jr, occurred last November.

Last October, Davis and another person were arrested for allegedly transporting a large amount of methamphetamine into Abilene.

Just last week, Davis was arrested after police found over 70 grams of crystal meth in his south Abilene home.

Davis is currently being held with over $2 million in bonds.
