NFL QB Graham Harrell to Speak at FCA Banquet

NFL QB Graham Harrell, a former Texas Tech Red Raider, will be the featured speaker at the 2012 Fellowship of Christian Athletes Victory Banquet on April 22 at the Abilene Civic Center.

The banquet will begin a 4 p.m. A limited number of tickets for the Victory Banquet are available to the public and can be purchased by contacting the Big Country FCA office at 325-795-0020. Tables of 10 are available for a donation of $500 and individual tickets are $50.

Harrell, who spent the last two seasons, including the Super Bowl year, with the Packers, will also help introduce this year's class of players, cheerleaders and coaches for the 13th Annual Myrle Greathouse Big Country FCA All-Star Classic.

The 2008, ATT All-America Player of the Year was also named the Sporting News Co-National player of the year. Harrell finished his career atop the NCAA record books in several passing categories and was the first player in NCAA history to pass for more than 5000 yards in two different seasons.

Harrell had a storied high school career at Ennis HS, where his dad Sam was the Head Football Coach. The two time All-State Selection won a state championship and was named the Gatorade Texas Player of the Year.
