Snyder Man Given Jail Term for Additional Drug Charges

Armstrong handed down the sentences earlier this week and they will run concurrently with the 20-year sentence.
Gallegos was sentenced to two years in prison, ordered to pay $140 in restitution, a $150 fine and $874 in court and attorney fees for possession of marijuana, under five pounds, but more than five ounces. The charge is a state-jail felony and the result of a Jan. 22, 2011 offense.
He was also adjudicated and found guilty on a March 8, 2008 possession of a controlled substance charge. He had been given a 5-year probated sentence, ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, $450 in restitution and $465 in court and attorney fees.
