KRBC PM Forecast: Friday, April 13, 2012

Updated: April 13, 2012
For tonight there will be a slight chance of a thunderstorm with partly cloudy skies and lows by morning in the 60s.
For Saturday a slight risk of severe storms will occur for the entire area with the best chances beginning late in the afternoon lasting in through Saturday night.
The dryline will be moving eastward across the area ...by afternoon with a cold front trailing not fa behind. The cold front will gradually overtake the dryline on Saturday night and the end result of the afternoon sun, and warm moist air in place interacting with these eastward moving boundaries is a slight risk of severe storms with large hail, damaging winds, and even tornadoes being possible as we go on through Saturday night.
On Sunday behind the front, we'll keep a slight chance of storms in the forecast area, but skies should gradually clear. Nice weather is on tap for next week with lots of sun, cooler temperatures and dry weather. Have a nice weekend! - KRBC Chief Meteorologist Mike Cole
