A jury trial for a Snyder man accused of aggravated robbery has been cancelled after the state filed a motion to dismiss.

Michael Lloyd Bennett, 18, was charged with aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred June 30.

According to the state's motion filed in 132nd District Court, a piece of evidence seized during the criminal investigation was misplaced by the investigating agency.

The motion noted that the state could not proceed without the evidence.

District Judge Ernie Armstrong approved the motion.
