The teenage boy who was driving the car involved in a traffic accident that killed Elexus Flores on West Lake Road Sunday has been released from the hospital.

Officials report that 17-year-old Eliseo Garza was released from the hospital, and doctors upgraded 17-year-old Gabriel Mendoza's condition from critical to serious.

The other passengers, 16-year-old Nick Lopez, 13-year-old Melina Camacho and 13-year-old Breanna Camacho are all still listed in critical condition.

Breanna Camacho was a member of a local girl's softball team. Her teammates and coaches scheduled a prayer vigil for her this evening at Wil Hair Park.

Abilene police accident investigators are working to determine the factors that contributed to the deadly accident.
