Betts In 14th After 36 Holes at ASC Championships

LUFKIN, Texas - After the first 36 holes of the 2012 American Southwest Conference men's golf championships, McMurry's lone participant - Garrett Betts - finds himself tied for 14th place.

After Monday morning's first 18 holes, Betts found himself tied for second place after firing a two-over-par 74 on the 6,692-yard Crown Colony Country Club course.

Betts would finish the day with an 85 in Monday afternoon's second round, for a composite score of 159 for the first 36 holes.

The tournament concludes on Tuesday with an additional 18 holes.
