Abilene Regional Medical Center Set for Healthy Woman Event, Expo

Empower Your Life with Purpose: The 4th Annual Healthy Woman Anniversary Event and Expo will be held Thursday, April 19 at the Abilene Civic Center.

Preceding the dinner presentation, a Healthy Woman Expo will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring free cholesterol and blood pressure screenings from Abilene Regional Medical Center as well as booth displays from local businesses.

The dinner presentation will be presented by nationally-noted motivational speaker Abby Rike, former Biggest Loser contestant.

Abby will challenge audience members to analyze self-truths to enable them to find balance between mind, body and spirit.

Admission to the expo is free, and tickets to the dinner presentation are $15.

The winner of the Healthy Woman Lose to Win Challenge will be announced during the dinner presentation, and men are encouraged to attend.

Katie Thompson, KRBC News Anchor will emcee.
