2 Remain in Critical Condition, 1 Improving from Deadly Crash

One of the teenagers hurt in Sunday's deadly accident is improving.

Hendrick Medical Center officials say 17-year-old Gabriel Mendoza's condition has been upgraded from serious to fair.

The remaining passengers, 13-year-old Melina Camacho and 16-year-old Nick Lopez are both still listed in critical condition.

They were in the car that ran off Farm Road 600 early Sunday morning and slammed into a tree.

Family members are making funeral arrangements for the girls who were killed in the accident, 17-year-old Elexus Flores and 13-year-old Breanna Camacho.
