Police have identified the two suspected burglars busted early Tuesday morning after their getaway car sprung a leak.

Officers arrested 18-year-old Summer Brewer and 17-year-old Michael Xavier Gonzalez after a witness saw them and two others breaking into his neighbor's home in the 1700 block of Westmoreland.

Police say the suspects kicked in a door to the home and took some items.

As the burglars drove away, their car started to leak, allowing police to follow the trail of fluid to the car on Mockingbird Lane.

They found and arrested the pair, who were walking nearby.

The two other suspects are still at large.
