Chimp Loses Dog

Workers at the Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary in Sarasota, Florida are desperately searching for a missing dog.
"Grace" is a specially trained companion dog that looks after 3-year-old chimpanzee "Chance".
Grace escaped from the the sanctuary when a stray cat wandered into a kennel, raising a ruckus with several of the animals inside.
Primate expert Pam Rosaire Zoppe says Grace was trying to protect the cat during the melee.
"His dog tried to save the cat from the other dogs, and the cat ran off and it followed the cat down the road," she said. "Unfortunately, I can't run as fast as I used to and someone picked the dog up. A lady in a blue car."
The Big Cat Habitat is hoping the woman that picked up Grace returns her to Chance and the animal sanctuary.
