A young girl landed in the back of a pickup truck after being ejected from a Jeep Thursday afternoon.

According to officers at the scene, the Jeep was pulling out of Aldersgate Methodist Church on Sayles Boulevard when a pickup truck collided with it.

The impact spun the pickup around and ejected the girl from the Jeep.

She landed in the bed of the pickup, where officers say she then stood up and was coherent.

She and the driver of the pickup were transported to Hendrick Medical Center for treatment.

There is currently no word on the extent of the injuries.
