The McMurry War Hawks are in 3rd place in the West Division. But they have not been looking good as of late.

They are riding a 5 game losing streak heading into the season finale with Mary Hardin-Baylor.

"We don't want to back in by any means, so we know we need to win. If not just to get into the playoffs but to get rolling in the right direction if we are going to do anything in the playoffs. So we've worked hard this week to try and turn it around and I feel good about out preparation." Says Head Coach John Byington,

Matt Thompson adds,"We just need to say focused and locked in the whole time, and with how we have prepared this week I think some of those plays can go our way and we can turn it around."

McMurry finishes up the season on the road in Belton. Their series starts Friday at 7pm and concludes with a doubleheader on Saturday.
