Road Improvements to Cause Delays in South Abilene

A highway construction job is going to delay traffic at a busy south Abilene intersection next week.
The Texas Department of Transportation is improving the intersection at South Clack and Antilley Road, just east of Abilene Regional Medical Center.
The exit ramp will be closed during the daytime hours next week as the workers finish repaving the roadway.
TxDOT officials say there will be flaggers there part of the time as the workmen finish the job.
The highway closures will begin Monday, April 23.
