According to Autismspeaks.org Autism now affects 1 in 88 children and 1 in 54 boys. It also adds that more children will be diagnosed with autism this year than with aids, diabetes and cancer combined.

We visited with James McDonald about the Swing 4 Autism Golf Tournament happening tomorrow morning. "This area doesn't have any charity events for Autism Speaks besides the Walk Now for Autism so we wanted to bring something new and fun to this area so I decided to start a golf tournament this year.", explains McDonald.

McDonald adds, "The overall goal is to raise money for Autism Awareness but we are also out there to have fun. We are asking that the golfers come out and play and if you don't play just come out watch and have a good time."

There is still time to register for the event just visit http://tinyurl.com/Swing4Autism.
