Cowgirls Fall To Mary Hardin-Baylor

BELTON, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to Mary Hardin-Baylor on Friday evening in American Southwest Conference action at the UMHB Tennis Center.
UMHB swept through the doubles portion to take a 3-0 lead early in the match.
Genene Haddad was the only Cowgirl to win a singles match. Lauren Jay, Morgan Rainer and Amelia Chaney also lost three setters.
The Cowgirls fell to 7-10 overall and 3-3 in ASC West play. UMHB improved to 10-5 overall and 4-1 in ASC action. HSU closes the season on Saturday at Trinity.
