Cattle Truck Overturns Near Strawn

On Monday morning around 3:00, a truck hauling cattle swerved slightly while rounding a curve on Highway 108 about two miles east of Strawn, causing it to overturn.

The driver was wearing his seat belt and only received a bruise from the fall he took when releasing the seat belt.

At 8:00 a.m. traffic was being weaved past the accident in a single lane as cows were still being removed from the trailer.
