We only warmed up into the mid to upper 70's here across the Big Country, but we're getting ready to turn the heat up quite a bit. Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies and temperatures back into the upper 80's. Winds will remain out of the SW at 15 to 20mph, even gusting up to 25mph for some folks tomorrow. By Wednesday, the heat really kicks in and brings mid to upper 90's back to the Big Country and keeps them holding on for Thursday as well. Some areas out to our west (like Sweetwater and Snyder) could see triple digit heat by mid-week...yikes!!
