Abilene Police Recognize, Capture Suspect with Felony Warrants

A suspect was arrested on felony charges in Abilene on Monday.

Police captured 20-year-old Amad Graves after a brief chase in southwest Abilene after they recognized him and knew he was named on felony warrants.

Police say he tried to run away, but was captured in an alley near Corsicana and Laguna.

He was taken to the Taylor County Jail on felony charges of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, theft of a firearm, and deadly conduct.

His bonds total more than $200,000.
