Big Country Teachers Receive Recognition

Teachers in the Big Country are receiving recognition for excellent work in our school systems.

GayleAnn Turnage, an English teacher at Abilene High School has been re-elected to a two-year term as District 14 director for the Texas Classroom Teachers Association.

Her new term will begin June 1, 2012.

Also, teacher Clare Nickel, of Clyde High School has been chosen Region IV Outstanding New Teacher by the ACTE.
