By: Katie Thompson
Updated: April 24, 2012
An Abilene sporting goods store will close its doors in just a few weeks.

Big 5 Sporting Goods on South Danville Drive will close for good in the beginning of May.

The location's manager says the close could be due to economic situations.

The store is already beginning to markdown clearance items, hoping to sell everything before the close.
