ABILENE, Texas -- Hardin-Simmons' men's track and field team will be led by a strong throwing and hurdler contingent at this weekend's American Southwest Conference Men's Track and Field Championship in Clinton, Miss.

"We think we have some individuals that will compete very well and possibly bring home some individual titles," said HSU Head Coach Rodney Smith. "We won't have the depth to compete as a team but we have some guys that could win and even qualify for the NCAAs with a good meet."

The Cowboys will put five runners in the 100 with Patrick Adams, Jose Bolanos, Kyle Hooper, Joseph Limon and Zeth Barron. Adams has the fastest time at 11.10.
