Fire Damages South Abilene Home

Fire damaged a south Abilene home this morning.

Crews responded to South 27th and Brookhollow shortly after 7 to see smoke coming from the garage.

The flames were quickly extinguished, but the garage door and the vehicle housed in the garage suffered heavy damage.

The rest of the house filled with smoke, but there were no injuries.
