The suspect in a Brown County murder has been denied a reduction in his bond.

Rene Pinon's bond was set at $250,000 after he confessed to the murder of Eddie Lopez last month.

Pinon told authorities that he shot Lopez outside of Early Donuts.

Investigators say the two were in a disagreement about money owed to Pinon's fiancee.

The men exchanged words before Pinon grabbed his gun and fired at Lopez.
