UPDATE: Woman Bitten by Snake in Good Condition

Monday May 14 Update:
Officials at Hendrick Medical Center say the woman who was bitten by a snake in Potosi is now in Good condition.

Friday Update:
The woman bitten by a rattlesnake near Potosi on Wednesday remains in critical condition as of Friday afternoon.

Rattlesnakes sent two Big Country residents to the hospital on Wednesday.

A woman who suffered a snake bite near Potosi is still in critical condition at Hendrick Medical Center.

The woman crawled for an hour to get to a phone and call for help.

The man who suffered a rattlesnake bite in Eastland County works for the Westbound Water Supply District in Cisco.

He was bit in the hand, and was airlifted to Hendrick, where he is doing well and is expected to get out of the hospital today or tomorrow, according to a water supply spokesman.
