Everyone knows, girls love their bling. This weekend, ladies across the
Key City will have a unique opportunity to sort through some of the
cutest jewelry in the Big Country courtesy of Visible Faith.
The one day only truck show will be held at Object D'Art on South 11th Street in Abilene, and will feature one of the store's most popular lines of customizable jewelry, My Dog Tags.
"Each one of these My Dog Tags is made by hand out of sterling silver," explains Keesha Fly, with Visible Faith. "Each one of the tags has a Bible reference and a symbol that symbolizes what the verse is talking about."
During the Trunk Show Saturday, customers will be able to personalize each Dog Tag with their favorite scriptures and even dates to commemorate special occasions like birthdays or graduations.
"Pretty much you do what you want," explains Fly, "you build your own. Each individual piece has it's own kind of story."
But no matter what you build, Fly hopes each piece will be a reminder of the faith that stands behind it.
"Our goal is for people to be able to use this as a witness because when someone sees you wearing it," explains Fly, "they can ask you about what it means and it gives you an opportunity to share the Bible."
