"You know they were very much a part of the community and you, they'll be missed," said Roby superintendent Heath Dickson.

Jeremy Claxton and Nick Walker both died after a well accident yesterday. Now Roby High School and the Roby community are remembering them for their love of agriculture.

"Both boys were really good kids, they were kind of outdoors type kids," said Dickson. "They loved Ag, and were real active in the Ag program."

Usually found in the Ag shop, they were known for their hunting and fishing stories. And these are memories carried around by students today.

"It's been tough because they weren't displaced very long you know they were here just last year and a lot of these kids still know them and are still friends with them," Dickson said.

This includes one of the boys' best friends, who was on his way to a baseball game in Seymour when the team heard the news. After the coach told them what happened, he gave them a choice.

"I asked them i said, 'well, it's your choice, what do ya'll want to do? Ya'll want to turn back around or keep going?' And he said they would have rather us keep doing what we were doing, that's the type of kids they were," said Roby mayor and baseball coach Eli Sepeda.

Everyone at Roby high talked about how they were good country boys, and how they will always be remembered that way by the community.

"They were just good kids and good families," said Sepeda.

Funeral services for Jeremy Claxton have been set for next week. They'll be held at two Monday afternoon at First Baptist Church in Roby. Burial will follow at newman cemetery.
