Many Visit Dyess Air Force Base for This Year's Big Country Airfest

The gates opened to the general public Saturday morning to commemorate 70 years of air-power in the Big Country. There were ground demonstrations plus B-1's, B-2's, C-130's, Golden Knights and civilian aircrafts. Pilots who participated say it was an honor to be at Dyess this year.
All the festivities wrapped up around 4pm, Saturday afternoon.The Big Country Airfest is a huge event for the entire area, bringing in thousands of people each year.
It's already time to start preparing for next year's show. The Big Country Airfest 2013 will be held at Abilene Regional Airport.
