A Taylor County man arrested on several felonies pleaded guilty in court this morning.

James Holt, 57, of Trent was scheduled to go on trial this morning to face the charges, but agreed to a plea deal instead.

Holt pleaded guilty to three counts of indecency with a child.

The presiding judge ordered a pre-sentencing investigation, which could take up to 60 days to complete and return a determined punishment.

Holt was arrested on the charges last year.
