By: Kristin Anderson
Updated: April 30, 2012
Taylor County residents can get a head-start on voting.

Early voting for the city and school elections started today and will go for seven days.

So far, the turnout for early voting has been good.

"Early voting is beginning to be more popular, it's just convenient," says Taylor County Elections Administrator Kristi Allyn. "And you know they'll have seven days for this city's school election that they can choose to go vote. I think it's just a convenience for the voters."

You can vote early at the Taylor County Plaza, K-Mart and Books-a-Million.

Early voting for the May 29 elections begins May 14.
