It's no secret that big country residents love to volunteer their time to help others in need and this weekend you can do just that all by swinging a golf club.

Dave Gillespie joined us to let us in on all the details for this weekends charity golf tournament. "We are going to have it Friday. Tee of time is eight o'clock. If you want to come in and play all you have to do is call Meals On Wheels. Call within the next couple of days because we are filling up fast.", explains Gillespie.

Gillespie adds, "There is a hundred dollar fee per golfer. All you have to do is go by Meals On Wheels and they'll have an application for you to fill out and you can put your hundred dollars in the pot then."

If you want to start volunteering give them a call or head into their headquarters off N. 7th Street. Don't forget about the charity golf tournament this Friday at Diamondback Golf Course.
