The Bangs Dragons blanked the Eastland 10-0, sweeping the Lady Mavs out of the playoffs on their way to the Area round.

Bangs and Eastland squared off at  at ACU on Monday night with Bangs winning game 1 last week.

In the first inning Bangs pitcher, Emily Owen, established their dominance early on. Striking out the first hitter of the ballgame, it would be a sign of things to come.

But the scoreless tie would not last long. In the bottom of the first, Courtney Owen ripped one off the fence that would allow two Lady Dragons to come home, and just like that Bangs had the 2-0 lead in the ballgame.

Then a little bit more Emily Owen as she got another strikeout. She would finish with a shutout of the Mavericks. As Bangs advances over Eastland with a 10-0 win. The Lady Dragons are headed to the area round of the playoffs.
