Man Arrested After K-9 Sniffs Out Chunk of Cocaine

A suspected drug dealer was arrested following a traffic stop in north Abilene last night.

Police arrested 27-year-old Jerry Washington on North Treadaway after a K-9 alerted officers to narcotics in his vehicle.

Washington was charged with delivery of a controlled substance after searching the car and finding a large chunk of cocaine.

He was taken to Taylor County Jail where he's being held on over $10,000 in bonds.
