ACU Set for 2nd Annual Run for Wishes

By: Kristin Anderson
Updated: May 4, 2012
Some ACU students are hoping to grant some local kids' wishes this weekend.

The Second Annual Run for Wishes is this Saturday, and the athletic association is looking to raise $10,000, which is enough money to grant multiple wishes for children in the Make-a-Wish Foundation in Abilene.

"To know the person, and to know the people who that money is going to and to be able to make somebody's wish come true, you know it's something that's really special," says race director David Pillen.

The race begins Saturday morning at 8 at the ACU softball fields.

Registration can be completed online for $15.
